Privacy policy
This privacy policy gives information about how we BBP Marketing Limited may collect and use personal data from users of our website, including any data provided when dealing with us.
Our website is intended for businesses and we do not intend to deal with individuals other than in the course of business. The website is not for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

Performance of a contract: Where we need the data to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with customers or suppliers.
Legitimate interests: We may use personal data where it is necessary to conduct our business and pursue our legitimate interests. We consider and balance any potential impact on users and their rights (both positive and negative) before we process personal data for our legitimate interests. How long do we keep personal data for?
We will only retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is collected. This includes for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation to which the data is relevant.

By law we must keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, and Transaction Data) for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

9. Disclosure of personal data
Persons whose data we hold have rights under data protection laws in relation to the personal data.
These include rights to:
Request access to their personal data (commonly known as a "subject access request"). This enables the person to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about them and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
Request correction of the personal data that we hold about them. This enables the person to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about them corrected. We may need to verify the accuracy of the new data provided to us.
Request erasure of personal data in certain circumstances. The person concerned can ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. This includes the right to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there has been a successfully objection to processing (see below), where we may have processed information unlawfully or where we are required to erase personal data to comply with local law. No fee usually required
There is no fee to someone who wishes to access their personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if a request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with such a request.
What we may need
We may need to request specific information to help us confirm identity and ensure any right to access personal data (or to exercise any of other rights) is correct. This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also ask for further information in relation to a request if this may speed up our response.
Time limit to respond
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if a request is particularly complex or there are a number of requests. If this happens then we will notify the person concerned.
